Day 3 - Casino Craziness !

Our Fun Therapy this afternoon turned out to be so funny.  We all met together in a room at the Casino Motel where Mama C and I had decorated for a "duo birthday party" for both Nick and Trish who are celebrating their birthdays on this Ride.  Everyone had party hats on and formed two circles so we could play pass the parcel.  When the music stopped on you, it was your turn to unwrap a sheet of paper and whatever was in there, you had to put on and wear to the pub tonight.  There was everything from big flowers for your hair to cottontails, hair pieces and jewelery - it was really funny.

After this we called Trish and Nick up to cut the cake and we sang Happy Birthday to them and then shared the biggest cake in history.  Even after everyone had eaten a piece, there was still three quarters of it left !

Next was the biggest surprise of all.  Our beautiful Shari (who is a professional dancer) taught the Captains how to do the Can Can.  She had made then beautiful skirts and they all did an amazing job - we have never laughed so hard - check it out:-

 After we got ourselves together King explained that tomorrow was going to be a really hard day and the hardest one yet.  Breakfast Crew need to be up at 5.00 a.m. to serve breakfast by 5.30 a.m. before the riders leave at 6.30 a.m.  Tomorrow they are not expected to arrive until around 3.30 p.m.

Our meal at the Charcoal Inn was really nice and after this everyone pretty well left to go home and get an early night's sleep before tomorrow.  Fingers crossed the weather will be good again.

Joker Jersey Winner - Todd - for keeping everyone awake late last night trying to find the door to the toilet and almost falling on top of Kath and Kim whilst looking.
King of the Mountain Jersey Winner - Holly - for being so much improved this year and despite being behind with her training, making up all necessary qualifiers.
Most Supportive Jersey Winner - Richo - for doing such a great job at the front of the pack today and keeping everyone on track.

Support Crew Joker Jersey Winner - Doc Rog - for saying it was too hot to get out of the car to cheer and do some Fun Therapy on the side of the road for the riders (even though the riders were out riding in the heat - not good Doc !)
Support Crew Most Supportive Jersey Winner - Mama C - for doing so much in the lead up to the Ride and now taking on the role of Support Crew Manager.  We love you Mama C.

The Fine Master handed out fines to Sal and Clint for having their own coffee mug permanently at the Coffee Van and just giving the girls a nod when they want it made - no lining up for them.  Clive was fined YET AGAIN for being out of uniform and King for being late for fun therapy, just to name a few.

Well that's it for today everyone, this little blogger is going to bed as I have to be up at 4.45 a.m. to get dressed and be out on time for breakfast duty.
