The End of Day 2

The riders did an amazing job today and arrived at Woodenbong ahead of time.  Kath and Kim aided by Trish and Don and the amazing Peta and Kristy helped set up an awesome lunch in the beer garden and Brad and Norm pumped up all the air beds for everyone as there was 26 of us who couldn't fit in beds so we were on air beds in the dining room.

After a yummy lunch and showers, everyone settled in for a lazy afternoon.  Our hosts, Melissa and Tony of the Woodenbong Hotel made us so welcome and at 4.00 p.m. served beautiful hot soup to everyone before cooking up an awesome BBQ for everyone for dinner of chicken, sausages, steak, rissoles, salads, fried rice and lemon chicken - it was so yummy!

Winners of tonight's special jerseys were:-

Joker Jersey Winner - Holly - for riding the big Red Car at Dreamworld and making a bit of a rude sign to her team mates at a very inopportune time - just as the Dreamworld photo was being snapped.  When she got off the ride the staff were desperately trying to move her photo off the screen so all the mums looking at their kid's photos wouldn't see it !

King of the Mountain Jersey Winner - Wacko - for riding at the front all day and being a really strong rider - considering he is so new to riding.

Most Supportive Jersey Winner - Dan - for being all round wonderful help on and off the road.

Support Crew Joker Jersey - Jack - for accidentally leaving his camera running on video whilst it was pointing to where Shari and Bec were sleeping.

Support Crew Most Supportive Jersey Winner - Sara - for doing an awesome job in the front car on the radio and then as soon as she gets back massaging for hours.

The Finemaster had lots of fines to hand out including fining Stu P for going for a run after riding all day, Rhi for setting the alarm off in the media car, Big G for mixing up the toilets and destroying the girl's toilet.

Following this Mama C gave a briefing on tomorrow's itinerary, we thanked the staff at the Woodenbong Hotel and then our Quiz Queen (Shari) conducted the Trivia Night where bonus points were on offer for the winning team which ended up being the Aqua Team.

After a lot of laughs, most people have now settled into bed for the night - all 26 of us sleeping in the dining room are settled in and we are all just hoping to get to sleep before Brian, Big G and Clive start snoring.
